I started out my career as an archivist, but switched to records management in 2009 and have been working in state government RIM ever since. Before coming to The University of Texas System in March 2021, I worked at the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (Government Information Analyst) and the Office of the Governor (Records Management Officer). I became a CRM in 2016.
I am honored to be serving NAGARA as the Chair of the Career Support Programs Committee, supporting the Mentorship, Internship, Travel Scholarships, and GARA Certificate Subcommittees. I have previously served as the Professional Development Committee Chair, 2022 Annual Conference Program Committee Chair, Government Archives and Records Administration (GARA) Certificate Subcommittee Chair, Partner Liaison to ICRM and ACA, and State Government Representative on the NAGARA Board of Directors.
